Clarksburg, CA, June 2, 2014—Local Sacramento Delta winery Bogle Vineyards is hoping to raise over $15,000 for local charities hosting weekly Friday Alfresco events throughout the summer. Each Friday evening June 20th through August 29th, Bogle is keeping its doors open late, hosting wine tasting, live local music and food for purchase from local gourmet food trucks. Admission is $10 per person and $5 for Bogle Bandwagon members. Net proceeds are donated to a different charity partner each week.

“Hosting Friday Alfresco is a fun way for our family to give back to the local community. Great wine, music and food all enjoyed on our beautiful tasting room grounds to support the local community…it’s a win-win for everyone.” Jody Bogle

2014 Bogle Friday Alfresco charity partners include: Yolo County Children’s Alliance, Lilliput Children’s Services, Project Ride, Food Bank of Yolo County, A Touch of Understanding, Cup With Love, Bloodsource, My Sister’s House, Habitat for Humanity-Yolo County and the Firefighter’s Burn Institute.  Last year’s events raised over $13,000 so the bar has been set even higher this year.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Mere Mortals Band with Kyle Rowland, Marvels of the Midway, The Easy Leaves, Sly Fox Band,  Schwamigos with Doug Newton, One Eyed Reilly, Opus featuring Clemón, John Pless & Friends, Random Shuffle Band and Whiskey & Stitches.  Delicious food for purchase will be provided by Mama Kim Cooks, Addy's Paella, Tuscan Sun Pizza Co, 3H BBQ, Chando’s Tacos and Heavenly Dog.

Friday Alfresco is a family-friendly event, though children ($5 admission per child) must be directly supervised at all times.  The lawn opens at 5pm, with the event wrapping up at 7:30pm.  No pets, thank you.  Please see the attached flyer for the calendar and summer line-up.  Note:  no event Friday, July 4th.
