Dry Creek Vineyards 2008 Dry Creek Valley Old Vine Zinfandel

Rating:
Gold Star

Dark berries, cooked plums, and spicy tobacco on the nose, with a touch of mocha and black pepper. Brambly on the palate, with big flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, licorice, and cinnamon, rounded off with distinct notes of cigar box and dark chocolate. Long finish that just keeps on giving. Great Zin. Grilled Argentine-style beef tenderloin.
