This September, Greenville, South Carolina will host the highly anticipated weekend-long event, Euphoria.
New to the festival in 2012 will be Euphoria’s first-ever Italian wine dinner at the Loft at Soby’s. Local chefs Rodney Freidank and Michael Panza will work alongside Guest Chef Carmon Quagliata of Union Square in New York who will bring his native Italian culinary instincts to the event- providing a unique blend with Soby’s signature Southern flair.
Furthermore, chefs from five additional beloved Greenville restaurants, such as the Mediterranean-themed The Lazy Goat and newly opened Breakwater Seafood restaurant, will pair with guest chefs from across the country to offer top-notch wine dinners for anyone who possesses an appreciation for the beverage.
Throughout the weekend, Euphoria also offers three informative wine seminars for those who wish to enhance their wine knowledge. Master Sommeliers Laura Williamson, Wayne Belding, and Kathryn Morgan will provide their expertise, educating participants on the topics of “Best on Budget”, “Riesling Rocks” and “Palette Predictions.”
In addition to the 6 wine dinners and 3 seminars, wines will be served throughout the weekend, with more than 100 wines from around the world featured in the Tasting Showcase event on Saturday and incorporated to the 18 other events that coincide throughout the weekend. It will be, in a word, euphoria.
Euphoria is a weekend-long event that includes exclusive tasting events, cooking demonstrations and wine seminars, as well as multi-course dinners and live musical performances. Euphoria features domestic and international wines, celebrity chefs, master sommeliers, and national recording artists. The 7th annual festival will be September 20-23, 2012.
