A: Your 2009 Santé Restaurant Symposium fee includes breakfasts; lunches; dinners, which include tasting and guest-chef dinners; coffee breaks; predinner receptions; postdinner hospitality suites; educational opportunities, which include unlimited seminars and keynote addresses; and exhibition hall demonstrations, which include tastings, the Santé Iron Bar Chef Competition, and the Best Chef Competition. Please note that transportation and lodging are not included in this registration fee.

Q: How do I arrange transportation?
A: Each attendee is responsible for scheduling his or her transportation to and from the Symposium. If you intend to drive, please see the resort's directions page. If you will be traveling by train, please use Amtrak service to Rensselaer station in New York. If you'll be flying, buy a ticket to Albany International Airport in Albany, New York. From either the train station or the airport, attendees may reserve space in the resort's shuttle by calling 518-644-9400 by April 19. Alternatively, attendees may rent a car at the airport or arrange to meet a rental car at the train station for the one-hour drive.

Q: Do you offer group discounts?

Q: Do you offer discounts for colleagues?
A: Yes. Each attendee may bring one colleague or a spouse for a special rate of $595. The colleague pass includes the same benefits as a regular full pass. Purchase of one full pass at the early bird rate of $995 or the regular rate of $1,195 is required for each colleague pass. Full membership-discounted passes also apply.

Q: Do you offer single-day Symposium passes?

Q: When should I plan to arrive/depart?
A: Registration begins at noon and continues until 5 p.m. on Sunday October 18, 2009. The Symposium ends following lunch on Wednesday October 21, 2009.

Q: What is the proper symposium attire?
A: During the day, attendees should wear business casual clothing. For evening, men should wear jackets, while women should dress in cocktail attire.

Q: Do I need to reserve seminar space?
A: No. All seminar seating is arranged on a first-come basis.

Q: How do I cancel a reservation?
A: Reservations are refundable, less the $100 processing fee, until September 18, 2009. No refunds will be granted after that date. Cancellations must be received in writing. All refunds will be processed after the Symposium.
