Harriet Lembeck led the third seminar in the Enoteca 2006 Spring series: the Sangiovese and Montepulciano Grapes. The audience drank up the extensive information provided by Lembeck not only about the grapes but about the regions and stories behind the wines.
ENOTECA 2006: McCARTHY EXPLORES NW ITALY IN A GLASS
On March 21, the second seminar in the Enoteca 2006 wine series explored the wines of Piedmont and NorthWestern Italy.

The seminar was led by wine scene veteran Ed McCarthy who pointed out the distinguishing features of each and explained, for example, the differences a few years of aging makes for a Barolo versus a Valtellina Superiore.
